Method

Known for our unique "reality based" coaching method, students learn how to get the best from their voice while still keeping their sound and individuality. We place a large importance on being true to who you are as a singer and guiding you through the process of finding your sound.

In a fun-filled environment students leave every lesson motivated and anticipating their next experience.

Our Difference

As well as covering all the neccessary scales and exercises that are crucial to developing your voice, HMA is Australia's first and only singing school that incorporates recording and songwriting into each lesson. Students will work on songs as part of their learning structure and get to record each song in our studio. A priveledge that would otherwise cost an arm and a leg - it is all included as a HMA student. Not only educating them in the process of creating a song but giving them priceless studio experience to benefit the future superstar inside.

Founder Sean Declase has created the "HMA 4 Step Theory" which is a proven method in learning a song and delivering it at a world class standard. Whether it's just for being the rockstar at the school party or performing to thousands of people - using these steps has seen our students become their own hit makers, securing recording contracts and singing live all across Australia and the world.

Hit Makers students will take part in our live showcases, suitable for all ages. Students also have the opportunity to perform around Melbourne with our Coaches at various live music venues throughout the year.

Our ever popular UNsigned contests have seen winners release their very own single and music video written and produced by our award winning team - receiving play on radio and video appearances on Channel V and Rage.

Structure

Solo and Group lessons are available upon request to all ages

Every new student gets their first lesson free - which is a great chance to meet and greet the mentors as well giving us the opportunity to hear your voice before we get started.

Singing lessons run for 30 minutes each. We also allow a double lesson (60 minutes) for those who travel a further distance. This way you can attend class once a fortnight and still get the full curriculum .

Group lessons run for 45 minutes for both junior and adult students
